On a hot summer day, a refreshing cocktail is appreciated and deserved. This campy pink flamingo cocktail adds an element of whimsy and humor while remaining a thirst-quenching, fresh, fruit-forward, spiked beverage. Easy to make a pitcher in advance, this summery drink is the perfect punch (pun intended) for garden parties and brunches.
Ingredients
- 2 cups vodka
- 2 cups fresh pineapple juice
- 2 ounces fresh lime juice
- 2 ounces grenadine
- Cocktail Cherries, garnish
Directions
- Add all of the ingredients to a bar pitcher. Stir with a cocktail stirrer
- Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour the cocktail mixture over the ice cubes, garnish, and serve immediately.
Bar Notes
We love Jack Rudy's Cocktail Co. Bourbon Cocktail Cherries, but any high-quality maraschino cherry will do. A Vitamix or blender creates easy work of juicing fresh pineapple chunks--simply strain through cheesecloth or a sieve to remove the fiber and keep the drink clear rather than cloudy.
