Drinks
Cranberries are a New England fall crop that has been grown for 12,000 years. Originally, the Wampanoag Indians cultivated cranberries for grinding into grits, mixing into dried meats, and for medicine. Today, most cranberries are turned into juice or canned for the annual Thanksgiving feast. Our favorite fall drink is a relatively new kid on the block—the Camp Craft Cocktails Cranberry Martini infusion kit. A combination of dried citrus fruits, dried cranberries, and vegan cane sugar sourced in South America, this is an in-the-jar ready-for-a-party spirited cocktail that may be infused twice for a total of 16 cocktails. Once infused, the mix lasts a couple of weeks in the fridge and is ready for imbibing anytime, but a particularly festive and impressive home bartender specialty for no-fuss weekend entertaining. We love this cocktail kit so much that this is our second recipe. This time around, we have shaken the infusion with cranberry juice for a puckering sweet-tart cocktail with ruby color that adds a bit of festive flair—a welcome party in a glass for some cooler weather entertaining.
Ingredients
- 1 Camp Craft Cocktails Cranberry Martini
- 12 ounces vodka
- 8 ounces cranberry juice

- Just before serving, add ice cubes to the pitcher and pour into chilled cocktail glasses.
- Garnish with a Dardimans dried citrus slice and serve immediately.
Bar Notes
The Camp Craft Cocktail mix may be infused twice for up to 16 cocktails. Fresh orange or lime garnish also works, but the dried fruit adds to the fall ambiance, a bit in step with the crunch of fallen leaves underfoot. Glasses should be chilled for at least 20 minutes. Recycle the glass jars :)
