Vintage 1860s Copper Hanging Hearth Stock Pot with Brass Spigot
Product Description
A rare, hearth hanging copper stock pot originally purposed for cooking over fire in a Downton Abbey style country home. As the pot would be heavy and scorching hot, the spigot allowed the stock to be drained without having to remove the heavy bone and broth pot from the hearth. These pots would simply be filled with additional bones and water for use for days at a time before cleaning to begin again. This pot is still in remarkable condition and may be used.
