Baby Bear's Porridge

1 cup quinoa, rinsed & drained in cold water Pinch sea salt 1 pear, peeled, cored & diced 1 cup unsweetened almond milk 1 tablespoon1 tablespoon chia seeds 1 tablespoon1 tablespoon flax seeds 1/4 cup sliced almonds Blueberries, raspberries, or other fruit MAPLE SYRUP


  1. Pour 2 cups cold water, quinoa and salt into a SMALL POT. Bring to a boil, lower to temperature to simmer, cover pot, and cook for 15 minutes.
  2. In a SMALL SKILLET, toast the almonds over medium low heat. Remove from heat and reserve.
  3. Add almond milk, chia seeds & flax seeds to the porridge.
  4. Scoop the porridge into BOWLS, sprinkle with almonds and fruit, and pass the maple syrup and a SMALL of almond milk at the table.
