Bold typography, this mid-century French ceramic match striker once stood on café counters and bistro bars, always within reach to light a Gauloise or the flame beneath a copper pot. Bearing the proud lettering Grands Vins de Bourgogne, it pays tribute to the wines of Burgundy and the culture that surrounds them. Made of sturdy ceramic with a ridged surface for striking, the vessel holds a cache of matches at its center.
