Made in France in the 1870s, this large lidded commercial copper stockpot is a testament to 19th century craftsmanship and culinary tradition. Forged with castellated seams and fitted with riveted brass handles, it was built for utility and endurance in the heat of a working kitchen. The pot has been freshly re-tinned, ready once more for simmering broths, bouillons, and slow-cooked stews. Its generous proportions and sturdy lid make it as functional today as it was nearly a century and a half ago. The exterior shows a warm, timeworn patina that speaks to its age and provenance, while the interior gleams with renewed purpose. A piece of French culinary history, equally suited for the stove or as a showpiece in a well-loved kitchen.
