Originally purposed for serving a terrine of fois gras, this heavy French two piece dish with a lapin (rabbit) raised on the lid is a delightful addition to any tablescape and may be used for keeping vegetables or mashed potatoes warm, or as a kitchen vessel for storing salt or other frequently used items such as nuts or dried fruits.
