Vintage 1950s Longchamp Chantilly Oyster Platter
Product Description
The Longchamp maker’s mark, a coat of arms, indicates that this room for twelve rope and seaweed motif bivalve platter was manufactured just after the end of World War II.
There are 12 compartments, but oysters were traditionally stacked on these platters to hold as many as two dozen bivalves.
