A Japanese tea ceremony worthy artisanally crafted dark silver ceramic tea bowl designed to enhance a smooth, frothy matcha consistency.
A beautiful matcha bowl, or chawan, is one of the most important components of the Japanese tea ceremony. Hand made in the Youhen Ibushi style. Features an ashy, primitive texture that requires a master’s hand. Each matcha bowl is produced in the region of Shiga, a center of ceramic industry that has been producing shigaraki ware pottery since 742 AD.

Care
Wash by hand with a neutral soap, and dry immediately. Because of its handmade nature, this bowl is not microwave, oven, or dishwasher safe.
Shipping & Returns Policy
We hope you love your selections as much as we loved designing and sourcing the items. If you would like to initiate a return, Weston Table will issue a return authorization and a return shipping label for items purchased from westontable.com within 30 days of purchase. Returned items must be received at our warehouse within 14 days of the return authorization using the provided prepaid shipping label for Weston Table to process a refund. Packages sent without return authorization or a Weston Table provided shipping label will not be processed.
