Vintage 1940s Hotel Wooten Water Pitcher
Product Description
This water pitcher was part of the restaurant service at H.O. Wooten's hotel in Abilene Texas. Constructed in 1930, he paid cash during the Great Depression and the sixteen story high hotel was a landmark visible for miles on the flat Texas plains. The hotel was infamous for creating skirt raising wind currents (and yes, young men were eager to get a peek) that eventually was dubbed the "Ankle Acre".
