This large French copper fish mold dates to the 1960s and was made for classic molded dishes such as poisson en gelée, seafood mousses, and other cold table preparations. The detailed scales and fins give it a strong silhouette, and copper’s quick temperature response helped mixtures set evenly and release cleanly.
