A vintage Bijar rug woven by Kurdish artisans between the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The pattern features a Gol Farang or foreign flower design created for export to European markets, which gives the composition greater ornamentation and refinement than regional tribal pieces. The rug has been washed and sunned to soften its tones, producing a singular palette that cannot be replicated. Elegant, rare, and quietly striking, this is a true collector’s find.
