Born in Mizusawa, Ogasawara was the son of a cast iron foundry craftsman and worked alongside his father since the age of 16. While inheriting the techniques of Nambu ironware, he became a pioneer in cast iron crafts when he applied his modern designs to traditional production processes. With a career spanning over 60 years, a wide range of household products showcase the depth and range of his raw iron mastery. Ogasawara recently passed away at the age of 83.Product Details

We hope you love your selections as much as we loved designing and sourcing the items. If you would like to initiate a return, Weston Table will issue a return authorization and a return shipping label for items purchased from westontable.com within 30 days of purchase. Returned items must be received at our warehouse within 14 days of the return authorization using the provided prepaid shipping label for Weston Table to process a refund. Packages sent without return authorization or a Weston Table provided shipping label will not be processed.
