Susan Termyn is a representational artist who paints "en plein air", working outdoors directly from life. Through close observation, she captures the subtle shifts of color, light, and atmosphere that define the New England landscape. Her paintings reflect the region’s seasonal changes and express her deep connection to the natural world.
A naturalist and gardener, Susan seeks to inspire an appreciation for the preservation of open spaces. Susan earned a BFA in Editorial Design from Syracuse University and began her career in graphic design and art direction in Minneapolis and New York City. After relocating to the Boston area in 1997, she turned her focus to painting.
