Product Description
Ornate floral repoussé gives this 1940s silver plate pedestal dish by Wallace Silversmiths its unmistakable Baroque character. Meticulous attention to detail is found along the deeply worked rim, where scrolling foliage and flowers create a rich interplay of texture and reflection against the polished center. Raised on an elegant pedestal base, the dish has a graceful sense of height and presence on the table. The silver plate has developed a handsome patina over decades, accentuating the depth of the repoussé work and intricate pattern.
