The Abrash Geometric Rug is hand knotted from hand spun wool and dyed with natural vegetable pigments, honoring traditions shaped over generations. Subtle variations in tone create the distinctive abrash effect, where organic shifts in color lend movement, depth, and an almost painterly character across the surface. The Ivory Hand-Knotted Wool Rug is a sophisticated transitional rug hand-knotted in Afghanistan. Inspired by the village of Khotan, an oasis along the Silk Road between Persia and China, its design blends Chinese, Persian, and Turkish motifs. We styled its gentle, neutral palette with botanical engravings, William Yeoward Crystal in amber, and antique English spindle chairs and hand-braided willow basketry that complement its geometric structure.
