Product Description
This handsome nearly three feet tall 19th century Royal Navy fouled anchor plaque is heavy and generously scaled. The crowned anchor, long emblematic of British naval authority, carries a sense of salt air, empire, and ceremony. A striking maritime piece with presence, patina, and historic gravitas.
The Latin on the plaque translates, "The Official Seal of the Lord High Admiral of Great Britain".
