Vintage 1880s Christopher Dresser Garden Seat, designed by one of Britain's most influential designers and produced by the renowned Linthorpe Art Pottery. The waisted hourglass form reflects Dresser's fascination with Asian and South American ceramics, which he studied extensively through the collections of the British Museum. Rooted in the Aesthetic Movement, the design balances botanical inspiration with clean geometric form, embodying the distinctive Anglo-Japanese style for which Dresser became known. Equally compelling as a garden seat, occasional table, or sculptural accent, it is an important example of 19th century British design history.
