An English writing slope crafted in rosewood and designed for correspondence, this compact and portable case opens to reveal a richly colored British admiral blue leather writing surface, framed by gilt embossed borders that lend a striking contrast to the deep tones of the wood. Beneath the sloped panels, fitted compartments provide storage for pens, ink, sealing wax, and folded stationery, creating a self contained writing desk for travel and daily use. At a time when letters carried news, business, and affection across great distances, a writing slope such as this served as an indispensable companion, combining utility with the refinement of early nineteenth century English craftsmanship.

Packages sent without return authorization or a Weston Table provided shipping label will not be processed.
