Handcrafted in northern Japan, this large Nanbu cast iron kettle carries with it centuries of artistry and ritual. The powerful dragon motif, an emblem of strength, protection, and prosperity, winds across the surface as both ornament and symbol. Handmade in Japan
A tetsubin is primarily for heating water, not steeping leaves directly. Use the kettle to pour hot water over tea in a separate teapot.

Care
Rinse gently with warm water before the first use. Never use soap or detergents. Avoid sudden high heat, as this can stress the iron. Do not let the kettle boil dry.
After use, pour out any remaining water and dry the kettle completely with the lid off.
Never leave water standing inside, as this may encourage rust. Wipe the exterior with a soft dry cloth while it is still warm to maintain its subtle sheen.

If you would like to initiate a return, Weston Table will issue a return authorization and a return shipping label for items purchased from westontable.com within 14 days of purchase. Returned items must be received at our warehouse within 14 days of the return authorization using the provided prepaid shipping label for Weston Table to process a refund. Packages sent without return authorization or a Weston Table provided shipping label will not be processed.
