Product Description
This vase pairs a sculptural, fluted silhouette with a cascade of peonies in saturated cobalt tones. Lifted from an 1875 archival motif, the floral artwork feels both romantic and graphic, with a porcelain like elegance that plays beautifully against the warm, creamy ground of Gien faience. Each vase is hand painted, so no two are exactly alike.
Made in Gien, France, this piece reflects the house’s centuries old tradition of faience making. Fired at lower temperatures than typical ceramics, Gien faience develops a distinctive depth of color and a softly luminous finish, then is crafted with durability in mind for life on the table and beyond.
