Product Description

A stunning honey color glazed utilitarian terracotta cooking vessel found in the South of France and originally used for duck or goose dishes such as cassoulet or foie gras. The bottom half of the pots were left unglazed as the bottom half of the pots were half buried in the ground to preserve the cooked contents during the winter months.
