Product Description
Cut from heavy flax linen once used as a flour sack, this early twentieth century pillow carries the strength and simplicity of utilitarian cloth. A soft grey ground is marked by two black stripes through the center, a detail originally intended for identification, now lending a graphic clarity to the piece.
The fabric has a dense, tactile weight, shaped by use and time into something both durable and inviting. Its character lies in restraint, where material and line are allowed to speak without embellishment.
Finished with a zipper closure and down fill, it offers comfort with structure. An easy addition to a bed or sofa, bringing texture, history, and a grounded sense of purpose into the room.
