Product Description
This late 18th century oak games table combines richly patinated wood, elaborate carving, and a striking colorful stone playing surface. Substantial barley twist legs are carved with diamond-shaped medallions at the shoulders and joined by a twisted stretcher with a central finial and floral rosettes at each corner. The carved oak frame holds an inset top of blue onyx and marble, centered with a black and white checkerboard for chess or checkers. A drawer spans the front and retains its original bronze knobs, lock, and key.
