Product Description
This early nineteenth century English copper stock pot would once have sat beside the hearth, slowly simmering broths and stocks for hours at a time. Crafted from richly patinated copper with a fitted lid and pouring spout, the pot reflects the ingenuity of traditional kitchen design. When filled and heated, it became far too heavy to lift comfortably, making the spout essential for draining off finished stock directly from the hearth. Both sculptural and deeply utilitarian, it carries the warmth and ritual of an English country kitchen into the present day.
