Product Description
A red deer looks out from the pages of an English field guide in this handsome book plate from John Derian’s collection. The natural-history illustration has the precise detail of a time when the animals of the British countryside were carefully drawn, identified, and recorded.
Handmade in decoupage, the rectangular tray preserves that old field-guide page as an object to live with rather than one left between the covers of a book.
