Product Description
Long before stockings were hung by the chimney, children across Germany left polished shoes outside their doors on the eve of December 5th, hoping St. Nicholas would fill them with sweets, nuts, and small gifts by morning. John Derian’s German Santa Rectangular Tray captures this old-world tradition with a nostalgic image of a fur-trimmed St. Nicholas bearing gifts. A charming piece for holiday confections, cocktail service, or setting beside a pair of shoes awaiting a little December magic.
