Product Description
An early nineteenth-century copperplate etching records the artichoke leaf by leaf, the original print carefully colored by hand as part of the era’s tradition of botanical documentation. More than two centuries later, the familiar garden vegetable remains as striking on the page as it is on the plate.
John Derian gives the antique print another life in decoupage, handmade in his New York studio.
