This mid 19th century handcrafted unusually large French copper champagne cooler was designed for both grandeur and utility. Its generous proportions and tapered form suggest it once held pride of place at a grand table or celebration. The decorative body is lined in tin and fitted with upright cast brass handles, offering a balance of strength and refinement. The warm patina of the copper speaks to its age and storied use, while the scale makes it as striking empty as it is when filled with bottles of chilled vintage or used as a vessel to display a large flower arrangement.Product Details
