A numbered and signed mid century Barbotine majolica jug in the form of a drake made originally used in French homes to pour house wine. Maker mark number 7492, St Clément, France, 3 The Saint-Clément earthenware factory, located 12 km from Lunéville, was created in 1758 by Jacques Chambrette, owner of a faience factory in Lunéville. With this second factory, he turned to the high-end segment of prestigious pieces. Because of this, the factory was named official supplier of the Trianon of Marie-Antoinette.France Circa
