19th Century French Glazed Vinegar Pot
Product Description
A stunning original condition ochre glazed utilitarian terracotta vessel found in the Southwest of France and originally used to make and store vinegar.
The bottom half of the pot was left unglazed as the bottom half of the pot was half buried in the ground to keep the fermenting contents cooler and fresher.
