Product Description

A 1940s French bread board emanating Old World rustic charm Perfect for picnics, charcuteries, cheese and desserts.

Clearly used and loved for many years in the kitchen, this board is an excellent collector's piece. The double splining detail was added to prevent warping and adds to the value of this functionally beautiful hand carved wood board.

In order to withstand high temperatures without splitting, the pieces of wood are interwoven and constructed without any nails or screws so the board moves together when the wood expands and contracts. This old-school design has helped each board survive over many years!
