- Place the strawberries, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 cup of water into a blender. Whir until smooth and thoroughly pureed. Set aside.
- Make a simple syrup by placing 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a simmer and stir until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool.
- Combine the strawberry puree, simple syrup, and lemon juice into a serving pitcher. Stir to combine. Add 6 more cups of cold water, stir until incorporated.
- Pour the strawberry lemonade into a pitcher and refrigerate. Serve over ice.
